SCR Prompts for "The Most Dangerous Game"

SCR Prompts for "The Most Dangerous Game"

Writing lesson · Grades 8–10 · PDF + slides · $4

Five short constructed response prompts for Richard Connell's "The Most Dangerous Game." I use them with grades 8-10 for STAAR-style SCR practice after we finish the story.

Each prompt gets its own slide so you can project one a day as a warm-up, or hand out the doc and let students pick. The prompts hit character (Zaroff, Rainsford, Ivan), setting and suspense, and the title's double meaning.
