How it works & FAQ

QuestLog makes picture schedules for students who need to see the day: type an activity and a matching picture appears, put the steps in order, and tap each one when it's done. Built for special education teachers, SLPs, OTs and parents.

How it works

  1. Type each activity, like Reading, Snack or Speech. A picture appears; tap it to pick a different one or use your own photo.
  2. Choose how many activities, then drag them into order. Pick a horizontal strip or a vertical list and a card size.
  3. Show it on the board with Present, or print it. Students tap each picture when that step is done.

What you get

  • 1,500+ pictures, matched as you type
  • Drag and drop to reorder; horizontal or vertical
  • Tap to mark done, with a Now marker and a celebration
  • Full-screen present mode and printable strips
  • Pro: unlimited schedules, 20 steps, your own photos, First / Then board, cut-out cards

Questions teachers ask

Is QuestLog free?

Yes. Two saved schedules with up to 8 activities each, the full picture library, both layouts, check-off, present mode and printing are free. Pro adds unlimited schedules, up to 20 activities, your own photos on every card, a First / Then board and printable cut-out cards.

Where do the pictures come from?

QuestLog has a built-in library of more than 1,500 bright, kid-friendly pictures (Microsoft's open-source Fluent Emoji). It matches common school words like recess, lunch, speech, bus and wash hands, and you can always search or use your own photo.

Can students mark activities as done?

Yes. Tap or click a picture and it gets a green check. The next activity is marked Now, and when everything is done the schedule celebrates. Start over clears the checks.

Can I make a First / Then board?

Yes, with Pro. First / Then shows two big pictures, what we do first and what comes next, and moves along as each step is finished.

Is student information saved online?

No. Schedules and photos are saved in your own browser on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
