Hats Off, Snow Friends! CVC & CCVC Center

Every snow friend lost its hat! Students read the word on each hat and put it on the snow friend wearing the matching picture. There are 30 CVC pairs (six for each short vowel) and 12 CCVC blend pairs with top hats, in color and black and white.

Then students record their words, sort hats by short vowel, fix missing vowels, glue hats on snow friends and pick the right blend. An answer key is included.
