"Top 5" Bracket Challenge
Icebreaker · Grades Any grade · Slides · $2 or included with All-Access
This is the fastest icebreaker I know. Instead of "share a fun fact," students argue over a low-stakes topic like Best Fast Food Fries or Best Superpower, tournament style. No right answers, so even quiet kids will defend a pick.
Partners get 60 seconds per matchup, the class votes by hand, and the winner advances until you crown a champion. A full bracket takes about five minutes. Speaker notes on every slide tell you what to say.
