STAAR Refresher: Mastering SCR with RACE & CER

This is a one-period STAAR refresher for students who have seen SCRs before but need the structure back in their heads. It reviews two frameworks side by side, RACE and CER, so kids can use whichever one clicks.

The slides give a sentence stem and a model sentence for every letter, then a full worked example. Students then read five short stories (a tough choice between studying and helping a friend, a hallway misunderstanding, a surprise party, and more) and write an SCR for each one.
