Character Analysis Presentation: "The Lady, or the Tiger?"
Project · Grades 7–10 · Google Docs · $2.5 or included with All-Access
A presentation project for Frank R. Stockton's "The Lady, or the Tiger?" Students pick the king, the princess, or the young man and build a 15-20 slide analysis in PowerPoint or Prezi.
The directions walk them through the slides in order: an introduction to the character, their role in the plot, their motivations and conflicts, a psychological reading using a lens like psychoanalytic or humanistic, how the character develops, and a conclusion. They support it with quotes from the text, then present for 10-12 minutes and take questions from the class.
