First Day True or False: Investigate the Teacher

A getting-to-know-you activity where the students do the work. You hand out a fact sheet about yourself, but not every fact is true. Students ask you questions, watch your reactions, and take notes like detectives.

Then they meet in groups, decide which statements are true or false, and present their case before you reveal the answers. It gets kids talking, asking questions, and working in groups on the first day.
