Story Seasons: Winter Fiction Reading Passages

Reading passages · Grades 3–4 · PDF, 26 pages · $4

Ten brand-new winter stories: a snow day, a snow fort, ice skating, a candlelit Christmas Eve, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Lunar New Year, sledding and a winter science fair. Each passage is 230–260 words with numbered paragraphs, a problem and solution, dialogue and a character who learns something.

Every story has a full question page: three multiple-choice questions, a vocabulary-in-context question, a written theme question and one rotating activity (True or False, Story Order, Character Web, Fill in the Blank or What Do You Think?). A Common Core standards page and an answer key with summaries are included.
