Moonlight Critters: Night Animal Math & Literacy Centers

Math & literacy centers · Grades 1st grade · PDF, 38 pages · $5

When the moon comes up, the night critters come out! Students unscramble true bat facts, sort real and nonsense CVC words, put night words in ABC order (with a same-first-letter challenge), play Batty Addition Bingo with sums to 20, order owl numbers to 120 and match tens and ones to bat caves.

Two bonus centers add science and writing: a Night or Day? sort with animal fact cards and an If I Were a Night Critter write-and-draw page. Every center has a color sign with an I can statement, a black-and-white record sheet and an answer key.
