The Love Monster Kindness Club: Valentine Kindness Packet

SEL packet · Grades K–2 · PDF, 32 pages · $4

Hugsby the Love Monster lives behind the classroom bookshelf and eats kindness. When the class gets grumpy he shrinks, and when kindness spreads he grows. Read his story, take the Kindness Club pledge and let Hugsby leave notes for students you catch being kind.

Class activities include a 50-heart kindness chart, Kindness Bingo, a kindness chain, a Kind or Not Kind? sort and compliment cards. Finish with a Love Monster craft, five writing prompts and Valentine cards. Notes and certificates come in color and black and white.
